I'm sharing my own experience of decluttering and selling my four-bed family home, moving in with my mum, and buying a small home as a single mum—and why, against all expectations, I’m genuinely buzzing about it.
We’ve been taught to believe that growing up means levelling up into bigger houses, more rooms, more stuff. But bigger doesn’t always mean better. And that pressure? It’s costing you time, peace, and let’s be honest—probably a whole Saturday morning in the garden you didn’t want.
